HSBC cross-lists five ETFs on Borsa Italiana

HSBC has become the 16th ETP issuer to list products on Borsa Italiana’s ETFplus platform after it cross-listed five funds on the Italian exchange.  The ETFs, which all offer broad market equity exposures, are also listed on London Stock Exchange, NYSE Euronext, Deutsche Börse and SIX.

The five ETFs have a combined AUM of around $3.5bn.

The HSBC EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF (H50E) gives investors exposure to 50 of the largest cap stocks in Europe. The fund currently has assets under management (AUM) of €117m and the ongoing charge figure is 0.05%.

The HSBC S&P 500 UCITS ETF (HSPX) tracks the S&P 500 Index. The current AUM of the fund is $2.5 billion and the ongoing charge figure is 0.09%.

The HSBC MSCI WORLD UCITS ETF (HMWO) gives investors exposure to the largest-cap companies of the world’s developed equity markets. The fund has AUM of $254m and an ongoing charge figure of 0.15%.

The HSBC MSCI EMERGING MARKETS UCITS ETF (HMEF) tracks the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, which tracks the performance of the largest companies in emerging equity markets. The ETF has $352m in AUM and ongoing charge figure of 0.40%.

The HSBC MSCI JAPAN UCITS ETF (HMJP) gives investors exposure to large and mid-cap companies listed in Japan. The fund has $212m in AUM and an ongoing charge figure of 0.19%.
