Invesco has announced the scheduled closure of 19 ETFs.
The funds, which collectively have listings across NYSE Arca, Nasdaq, and Cboe BZX Exchange, will have their last trading day on Wednesday 20 February 2019.
The ETFs consist primarily of equity strategies offering niche exposures, including industry-specific (such as global agriculture or Canadian energy) as well as factor-based and smart beta strategies.
The line-up also includes a fixed income fund targeting Chinese ‘dim sum’ bonds (yuan-denominated Chinese bonds issued in Hong Kong, a US REIT ETF, and an actively managed multi-asset fund.
These unconventional strategies have failed to garner significant interest from investors – the funds collectively house a little over $300 million in assets under management with six of the ETFs containing less than $10m in AUM apiece. The largest fund in the range is the $65m Invesco Chinese Yuan Dim Sum Bond ETF (DSUM US).
