Pacer ETFs has launched five new funds in the US, expanding the firm’s ‘Trendpilot’ and ‘Cash Cows’ suites of ETFs. Pacer ETFs has reached the $4 billion assets under management milestone, adding over $1bn AUM within just four months, amid strong demand for the firm’s ‘Trendpilot’ range of ETFs which aim to help investors navigate turbulent markets. Pacer ETFs has launched the Pacer US Export Leaders ETF (PEXL US) on NYSE Arca, providing smart beta exposure to high-growth US companies with strong export-oriented revenue streams.

Pacer ETFs has launched the Pacer CFRA-Stovall Equal Weight Seasonal Rotation ETF (SZNE US) on NYSE Arca. Influenced by the investing adage “Sell in May and go away” the fund rotates semi-annually into sectors that have historically fared well during that time of the year.

Pacer ETFs has launched a suite of three new funds on NYSE Arca that provide access to real estate investment trusts (REITs) focusing on different sectors of the US property market. The ETFs target traditional bricks-and-mortar retail REITs as well as REITs standing to gain from the ongoing e-commerce revolution.

Pacer ETFs has introduced the Pacer Military Times Best Employers ETF (VETS US), a new thematic fund tracking US-listed firms that support training and professional development of military veterans, service members and their families.

Pacer ETFs has announced it is changing index provider for its large and mid-cap Trendpilot ETFs, dropping Wilshire Indexes in favour of S&P Dow Jones Indices. The changes, due to come into effect on 1 November 2017, also include new fund names for the trend-following ETFs. Sean O’Hara, president of Pacer ETF Distributors, commented: “Utilizing S&P DJI’s indices will allow the funds to function more efficiently and reflects our desire to add transparency to our products.”

US-based Pacer ETFs has added two funds to its ‘Cash Cow’ smart beta line up, targeting equities from the international developed and US small cap universes. The new funds select stocks using a free cash flow yield filter which tilts the portfolios towards value and quality factors.
